" Please Neha ! Stop crying. This is just an exam. Some stupid marks in exam can't decide your failure. " I said. 

 

" Don't console me yaar. I don't know what's wrong with me. I prepared so hard for these. And finally exam comes.. Few incorrect answers in OMR sheet and your life us changed forever. " Replied Neha sobbing. 

 

" Its really Ok Neha! "  

 

" But you know I'm more upset with my father. Inspite of supporting me, Inspite of telling me that Neha its ok.. It can happen... He was blaming me for this... " 

 

I looked into her eyes... Held her cold hands in mine. Pulled her close and hugged her with all my heart and said " Neha! Its ok.. It can happen. You have to achieve so much in your life. I trust you and your abilities. You are awesome. " 

 

She smiled through her tears. And the salty tears of her eyes suddenly became sweet as honey.

" Its been 10 years since we met last time, Abhi " Said Swati. 

 

We were having dinner in Sriganga Restaurant Freeganj. After what seems like eternity, I met Swati accidentally in Ujjain. She was as cheerful and beautiful as she was In college days. She never looked like mother of two sons to me at first sight. 

 

" Hmm! Exactly 10 years. Where have you been in 10 years yaar. And when did you get married? " I asked her. 

 

" Its a long story.. I will tell you everything but first tell me why didn't you get married till now? " She said as we both finished dinner. 

 

" Umm.. I didn't find suitable girl...  " I said while giving her Centerfresh. She always liked that after eating anything. I knew it . 

 

" Centerfresh! OMG.. You still keep it.. You still remember.. Wow yaar.. I thought you forgot"

" There was no future. And ayesha lets not talk about it further. Yaad hai tumne kaha tha ki jo sach aur sahi hai vahi karo. Maine vahi kiya. Main aamrapali se pyaar karta tha yeh sach hai. Aur use bhulne ki koshish kar raha hu yeh bhi sach hai. Magar tum isme meri madad nahi karogi toh mere liye badi mushkil hogi. Kyuki mujhse jyada toh who tumhe yaad rehti hai. " And I embraced her in my arms and said " I love you…"

Tumhe bhoolne laga tha ki tum yaad aa gaye… 

Main phirr sambhalne laga tha ki tum yaad aa gaye.. 

 

Sawan ki bheegi si raat me chhat par tehelte huye… 

Achanak chaand dikh gaya ki tum yaad aa gaye.. 

 

Tv dekhte huye Kal ki raat zee cinema par.. 

 " Jab we met " aa rahi thi ki tum yaad aa gaye.. 

 

Kitaabe e ishq pad rahe the hum baithkar… 

Pehli mohabbat lafz aaya aur tum yaad aa gaye.. 

 

Teri hi yaadon se bachkar jab ghar ko nikla… 

Bich me Ujjain aa gaya aur tum yaad aa gaye…

एक दफा वो याद है तुमको, 

सर्दियों की एक सर्द रात.. 

तुम ले गयी थी मुझे चौपाटी 

दुकानदार को पैसे देते हुये, 

पूरा पर्स खाली हो गया था.. 

हँसते हुए कैसे कहा था तुमने 

" मेरी तस्वीर रखा करो पर्स में, 

हमेशा पैसे रहेंगे। " 

 

आज कल तुम नहीं हो.. 

पर चौपाटी जाता हूँ कभी कभार, 

अब पैसे खत्म ही नहीं होते ! 

तुम्हारी एक तस्वीर लगी है पर्स में 

पर अफसोस!
